Warehousing Review

We approach our responsibilities in improving warehousing and distribution in a four-step process.

The first steps of assessment are:

  

  • Understanding your current warehousing set-up 
  • We determine by “mining” and “benchmarking”, along with review of your management staff and possibly some of your vendors and clients
  • We determine what role systems & technology currently play and where it should be deployed
  • Plan out a tentative budget and determine what options within the agreed parameters might work

  

The second steps include a “ROI”:

  • What will be the initial expense, reoccurring costs and what financial benefit will come from any agreed improvements derived from the benefit analysis


The third steps of “operation” include:

  • What operationally you will need to accomplish to make the recommendations work in your business model
  • Technology will play a significant factor in this analysis and functionality in the warehouse
  • We review the demographics and needs of your customers to factor that variable and nuances into the operational needs


The fourth and final steps of implementation include:

  • Determining our role in the implementation process, as once the first three steps are accomplished, you may want to implement independently. We will always be there as required
  • If you require, we will support managing the entire implementation process
